Why do we even exist?

It didn’t start with a plan. It didn’t start with investment decks, branding

agencies, or a five-year roadmap. It started with coffee. And frustration with same coffee everywhere :(

Sumit(I) spent years working in marketing for cafés and restaurants mostly Italian ones. I was deep inside the industry. I learned how to built everything, how customers behaved, how brands were positioned, and most importantly, how coffee was chosen. And everywhere I went, it was the same story. South America. Brazil. Colombia. Guatemala. Over and over again. Good coffee, sure. But safe. Predictable. Comfortable. No one was doing anything different. Not because they couldn’t, but because no one wanted to take the risk.

While everyone was chasing light roasts and citrus notes, I kept coming back to something else. Coffees with weight. Coffees with body. Indian coffees. Heavy. Rounded. Chocolate driven. Built for milk. Built for people who actually drink coffee every day. But no one in the UK was really using them. Not seriously. Not confidently.

Instead of launching a brand, I did something smaller. Quieter. More honest.

I bought a coffee trailer. No announcements. No origin stories. No explanations. I didn’t tell anyone what beans I was using. I just served coffee. And something strange happened. People started asking questions.

“Why does this taste so smooth?” “What coffee are you using?”

Reviews started coming in. Then more. Then a flood.

Over 100 reviews in under 50 days. Top 1% of businesses. Without asking. Without incentives. Without influencers. Just people drinking coffee and

caring enough to talk about it. That’s when it clicked.

This wasn’t luck. This wasn’t hype. This was a gap.

The UK coffee market was crowded but it with the same ideas, the same flavours, the same thinking. Mostly driven by South American profiles. There was room for something else. Something warmer. Something bolder. Something built to work best with milk. I knew I couldn’t do it alone.

I found someone who believed in the idea enough to invest not just money, but trust. And standing beside me the whole time was my girlfriend, who believed before there was proof, before there were reviews, before there was anything to show. So I did the sensible thing.

I quit my corporate job. Put all my savings. Took the investment. And went all in. No safety net. No guarantees. Just a belief that coffee could be better not louder, not trendier, but better. And that’s how Brewsmiths was born..

Not as a brand chasing clout. But as a place, and a product, built around flavour, comfort, and honesty. Right now, we’re still small. We’re a coffee trailer in Kingston. Soon, we’ll be a café in Kingston.
And YES, we’re launching coffee beans, ground coffee, and everything that comes with building a proper coffee home. This is just the beginning.

If you want to be part of it early just buy the coffee.
Gift it. Share it. Drink it. Do Whatever the F*** you wanna do just buy it.

And if you want to see it in real life, come find us at the trailer.

The café is coming.
And it’s going to be f*cking good.
